The Place In Between

The Place in Between is an intimate drama written by Valerie Michelson and Laura Perez and directed by Laura Perez, starring Valerie Michelson, Paeka Campos, and Rodrigo Lloreda. The film follows a lawyer who reunites with her estranged teenage daughter after the death of the girl’s father, and together they set out on a road trip across Texas in an old Fairlane to scatter his ashes. Along the way, they confront their shared past and begin to find connection through both laughter and tears, offering a heartfelt exploration of family, loss, and reconciliation.
